Erin and Matt were a match to begin with! Their day was filled with inspiration and personalization. The one moment that caught our eye, was their customized vows sealed with a pinky promise.
Fun Fact: The pinky promise is a tradition that dates back to the Victorian era. The practice has evolved over time, but it still symbolizes commitment and love–and it can be used in so many ways!
For example: You can use this simple gesture as an affirmation of your vows before or during your ceremony; you can make it part of your marriage proposal; or even seal a friendship with someone special by making them pinky promise something important to both of you (like staying friends forever).
They even had a custom install designed by Rachel J. Events and Elle Seals. Followed by custom cocktails and Ice cream for dessert from coneflower creamery.
